Tyler Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

TYLER — Tyler Police are investigating a reported armed robbery in the Shiloh Pines Mobile Home Park. It happened just after 5:00 Friday morning According to authorities, the victim said she was returning home when she was approached by a young black man armed with a handgun. The suspect reportedly stole the woman’s purse and fled the scene, as a passenger, in a light blue sedan. The woman was not injured. The suspect is described as heavy set, in his early 20′s with a blue bandana covering his face, wearing a grey shirt and black jeans.
