Tyler Fatality Accident

TYLER — A Tyler pedestrian has been killed in an accident. It happened just before 11:00 Sunday night in the 1600 block of Vine Street. Killed was Nikeisha Smith, 39, of Tyler. Police Sgt. Jason Burton says it appeared that Smith was crossing the roadway and not in an approved crosswalk when she was struck. The driver of the vehicle in the accident was not issued any citations.
