Posted/updated on: July 31, 2012 at 6:42 pm

AUSTIN — Republican U.S. Senate hopefuls David Dewhurst and Ted Cruz have been drawing the lion’s share of attention as voters decide who will replace retiring Kay Bailey Hutchison. But there are two Democrats running as well, and they’re both from East Texas. Former state representative Paul Sadler is from Henderson. His opponent, retired educator Grady Yarbrough, is a Smith County native who now lives in San Antonio. All four are vying for the nominations in today’s primary runoff.
