Garage and Vehicles Destroyed in Early Morning Fire
Posted/updated on: July 17, 2012 at 11:20 amBULLARD — A detached garage went up in flames in Bullard early Monday morning, destroying vehicles and other property belonging to the homeowner. The Bullard Volunteer Fire Department was called to 504 Ella Street at about 4:45 by the homeowners, who were awakened by a loud explosion in the garage. According to KETK, when firefighters arrived, they found the large garage fully involved with the structure already completely destroyed. Inside the garage, two vehicles, a boat, and several ATVs were burning. All of the items were a total loss. There were no injuries reported. The Bullard Police Department is investigating the cause of the fire. The Flint-Gresham VFD also assisted in fighting the fire.
