Elderly Woman Robbed at Gunpoint at Library

TYLER – Tyler police are looking for the man who robbed woman at the Tyler Public Library. The 82-year-old woman was finishing a book while sitting in her vehicle Sunday afternoon. She said a man walked to her vehicle, showed her a black handgun, and demanded that she take him where he wanted to go. She refused and stepped out of her vehicle and gave the suspect $100. The man then walked to Bois d’ Arc Street and was last seen walking north from the area. The woman was not injured. The suspect was described as a black male; 19-20 years of age, 5’10” tall and clean shaven.
