Police Search for Suspects in ‘Adult Store’ Theft

KILGORE — Kilgore police searched Friday for a man and woman whom, they say, stole nearly $70 worth of sex toys from a Kilgore adult shop. According to the Longview News-Journal, the suspects bought $75 worth of items Thursday from Adult Video and DVD in the 1900 block of Industrial Boulevard, but a shop worker told police they stole four other items, said Lt. Roman Roberson of the Kilgore police. The store owner said the two loitered in the shop for a long time, and after they left, the owner checked the surveillance video. “Shop lifting is a problem for any retailer, and it is stealing,” the owner said. The surveillance video showed the man stuffing the items into his pants. The suspects fled before police arrived.
