Harrison County Woman Sentenced for Dealing Meth

MARSHALL -– A 54-year-old Harleton woman has been sentenced to federal prison for drug trafficking violations. Tamara Lynn Olivares pleaded guilty on March 30 to possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and was sentenced to 43 months in federal prison.
According to information presented in court, on August 14, 2010, Olivares purchased cold pills containing pseudoephedrine at a CVS store in Marshall with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine. Olivares admitted to possessing between 100 and 300 grams of pseudoephedrine.
