Warrant Issued for Sex Offender

MARSHALL — The U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force has issued a felony warrant for a Marshall man for failure to register as a sex offender. Walter Earl Hicks Jr., 24, also is wanted on an outstanding felony probation warrant, according to the Longview News-Journal. During a sweep to verify sex offender registration earlier this week, Marshall Police said two other people were not located and will be charged with failure to register. Thirty-four other registered sex offenders were properly registered.
