“Brat Pac” Founded at SFA

NACOGDOCHES — Using $1 million of his inheritance, 21-year-old senior John Ramsey of Stephen F. Austin State University has founded what’s been dubbed the “Brat PAC.” The Liberty for All Political Action Committee is an army of college Republicans going after the old establishment, modeling their beliefs around the libertarian-leaning Ron Paul. Ramsey says government has no place in the bedroom. He says when it goes there, it’s an attack on civil liberties, “and that’s not what a free republic is all about.” Ramsey’s PAC is also getting involved in a Democratic race in Travis County, supporting Michael Cargill for constable. Cargill’s an openly gay African-American who’s also pro-Second Amendment.
