Tyler Attorney Named State Bar President

HOUSTON – Tyler Lawyer F. R “Buck” Files has been named as President of the Texas State Bar Association. Files, who is certified in criminal law, was sworn in Friday at the State Bar’s annual meeting in Houston. He succeeds Bob Black of Beaumont. Among his many honors over the years, Files was the Defense Lawyer of the Year, Criminal Justice Section of the State Bar of Texas in 2004.
