Gladewater Man and Infant Killed in 4 Vehicle Wreck

WHITE OAK — A Gladewater man and an infant were killed in a four-vehicle wreck Thursday in White Oak. It happened around noon on Highway 80 at Hollingsworth, according to the White Oak Police Department. Brent Eric Young, 45, and 7-month-old Kennedi Burks, both of Gladewater, were killed in the wreck. They were passengers in a sedan that was rear-ended by a truck. The driver of the sedan was Mary Nicole Young, 45. She survived the crash. The driver of the pickup also survived. He was identified as Jared Tuel, 24, White Oak.

After the sedan was hit, it slid into oncoming traffic, and was struck by another vehicle, a Chevy Tahoe, driven by Patsy Ann Harrell, 65, White Oak. Harrell survived the crash. No word yet if there will be any citations given in the accident.
