Construction Begins on I-20 for Toll 49

TYLER — Toll 49 construction has reached I-20. Officials with the North East Texas Regional Mobility Authority (NET RMA) say the first of many construction activities taking place within the next several months is an eastbound shoulder closure, beginning today, allowing drainage work to begin. There will be signage making motorists aware of the shoulder closure. Officials say you should be prepared for any potential delays in the construction area.
