Student Found Dead at TSTC

MARSHALL – A student has been found dead in his dorm room at Marshall’s Texas State Technical College. According to a news release from the school, the student was found unresponsive in his bedroom on campus around 9:00 Tuesday morning. Emergency personnel were called to the scene and performed CPR, but the student died.
The name of the student is being withheld until his family has been notified. The cause of death has not yet been determined; however there is no evidence of foul play. The Texas State Technical College Police Department, in conjunction with the Marshall Police Department are conducting the investigation.
Counseling sessions will be available to all students for the duration of the week.
