Day of Prayer and Fasting

TYLER — In preparation for the National Day of Prayer on May 3, Mayor Barbara Bass calls for local church pastors and their staffs, local ministry leaders, elected officials, school board members, and other government agency leaders to a day of prayer and fasting for the Tyler community. The event is scheduled from noon to 1:00 today at the Tyler Rose Garden Center. According to a news release, “During the noon hour local pastors and prayer warriors will offer up specific prayers concerning the Tyler community and the nation. Please join the Mayor for one hour of prayer.”
