Lufkin Man Arrested for Alleged Child Molestation

ANGELINA COUNTY — A Lufkin man is behind bars following the alleged molestation of a 10-year old girl on several different occasions. According to KETK, on Friday, Lufkin police arrested Juan Homero Hernandez, 38, at his home in the 900 block of Moore Avenue. Hernandez is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child. His bond is set at $250,000.

The victim first disclosed the assault to her school principal, who told her mother. The child’s mother then filed a report with the Lufkin Police Department, according to an arrest affidavit. The girl claims she was touched several times by Hernandez, starting more than a year ago and ending years ago.
