Longview Police Trying to Identify Robbery Suspect

LONGVIEW — Police in Longview seek the public’s help as they try to identify a suspect in a weekend robbery. On Sunday, April 8, at 2:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to an aggravated robbery in the drive-through area of Capital One Bank located at 1111 Judson Road. According to the victim, she had gotten out of her vehicle to make a deposit in the commercial drop box. At that time, the suspect, who was on foot, came around the corner of the building with a handgun in his hand. The man took the deposit money and a cell phone from the victim and ran west from the bank. The bank was closed during the time of the robbery, but the crime was captured by the video surveillance system.

The suspect is described as a black male 5’7” to 5’10” with a slim build, and wearing a dark toboggan, a gray long-sleeved shirt, jeans, and a gray or black bandana.
