MARSHALL – A 45-year-old Gladewater man has received a hefty prison sentence for federal firearms violations in East Texas. Edward Charles Lee pleaded guilty last August to being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was sentenced yesterday in Marshall to 16 years, eight months behind bars by U.S. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap. According to federal authorities, on April 7, 2011, Lee was found in possession of numerous firearms in Upshur County.
