Suspects Arrested after Longview Robbery

LONGVIEW — Two suspects accused of overpowering a Longview convenience store clerk around 5:00 Tuesday morning, are now in custody and officials say they expect at least one more arrest. Drew Antonio Davis, 26, and James Alexander Coombs, 36 (pictured), both of Longview, were charged with robbery and are both being held in the Gregg County Jail.
Longview police said the clerk at the EZ Mart on Judson Road was hit in the head from behind. According to KETK, the suspects are described as a black male wearing a white ball cap with a dark T-shirt and a white long sleeve undershirt with jeans and some type of house shoes and a heavy-set black female wearing a black toboggan and a black T-shirt.
