Authorities: Longview House Fire Intentionally Set

LONGVIEW — According to the Longview Fire Department, a Monday morning house fire at 1012 Lambert Lane was intentionally set in a back bedroom. The fire broke out at around 7:30. KETK reports the fire department had it under control within 10 minutes of arriving on scene. Five people were displaced. Authorities say the blaze was contained to the back part of the house but the home was heavily damaged. The family was at home when the fire started but escaped uninjured.
