Arrests Made in Reported Kidnapping and Assault

NACOGDOCHES — The Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s office says a man was kidnapped and severely beaten by several men Saturday morning. Officials tell KETK they were able to determine that the kidnapping started at a house on Davis Street in the city of Nacogdoches. Two suspects have been identified and arrested. Austin Truitt has been charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault. John Michael Windsor has also been charged with aggravated assault. The man who was beaten was taken to a local hospital and treated for multiple injuries. No bonds have been set on the suspects, and more arrests are pending.
