Angelina County Wreck Kills One

LUFKIN – A teen injured in an Angelina County accident has died in a Tyler hospital from his injuries. The Department of Public Safety reports Jaron Parrish, 19, of Lufkin, died yesterday at East Texas Medical Center. He was a passenger in a car that slammed into a tree Sunday morning on Farm Road 1194 near Farm Road 3150. The DPS report said Parish was not wearing his seat belt. The car’s driver and two other passengers were injured in the crash. Their injuries were described as non life threatening.
