Authorities: Two Caught Stealing Copper

NACOGDOCHES — Authorities say the Nacogdoches County Constable Office Precinct 4 and the Nacogdoches Police Department stopped a burglary in progress Thursday around 11:00 p.m. in the city of Nacogdoches. According to KETK, officials say two men from Nacogdoches were caught inside a building on Hunter Road in the process of stealing copper. David Driver, 19, and Joshua Walker, 21, were arrested and charged with Burglary of a Building, a State Jail Felony. Both were transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail. Constable Jason Bridges stated that his office has been working an ongoing investigation into copper thefts for the last six months.
