Kilgore Man Arrested for Solicitation of Minor

GREGG COUNTY — Longview Police have arrested a Kilgore man and charged him with online solicitation of a minor following a cyber sting. Christopher Scott Church, 34, was booked into the Gregg County Jail around 3:00 last Tuesday after officers say he went to the 1500 block of North Eastman Road after exchanging email and text messages with an officer he thought was a 14-year-old. His bond was set at $20,000.
