The Longview News-Journal reports, McKinney Boyd in the Dallas U.S. Postal Service office said 200 positions eliminated in Tyler, if Congress fails to act by May 15, will be absorbed by attrition. Boyd said employees will have the opportunity to apply for new jobs in new locations. Post offices in Overton and Easton closed during the summer.
