Man Sentenced for DWI with Child in Car

NACOGDOCHES — A Nacogdoches man pleaded this past week in Nacogdoches County District court on the charge of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger. According to KETK, Apolonio Vasquez, 30, received 90 days in county jail from a Dec. 4, 2011 incident. Officials said he continued to drive away from police for 13 blocks after they initiated emergency lights to pull him over for making an unsafe lane change.
