Two Dead in Smith County Wreck

TYLER – A one vehicle wreck Southeast of Tyler has killed two persons. The wreck occurred around 3:30 Sunday morning on County Road 285. Dead at the scene were the driver, Andrew Jeremiah Whitton, 36, of Tyler, and a passenger, Sarah Katherine Brown, 38, of Tyler. The Department of Public Safety reported their car was southbound when the vehicle left the road and hit a tree. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
