Fatal Wreck Near Big Sandy

BIG SANDY — One person was killed and five people were injured in a one vehicle rollover on U. S. Highway 80, about two miles east of Big Sandy. The Department of Public Safety say the wreck happened around 9:50 Saturday night. Saray Liang, 65, was killed. Her vehicle was reportedly heading westbound on Highway 80 when it ran off of the road, over-corrected and flipped. Liang was not wearing a seatbelt at the time. The five people who were also in the vehicle were taken to a local hospital with injuries but are said to be in stable condition.
