Harrison County Man Guilty of Federal Drug Charges
Posted/updated on: February 15, 2012 at 4:52 pmMARSHALL — A 53-year-old Marshall man has pleaded guilty to federal drug violations. Gary Lynn Corpier pleaded guilty in Marshall yesterday to possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine before U.S. Magistrate Judge Roy S. Payne. Corpier faces up to 20 years in federal prison. A sentencing date has not been set. According to federal prosecutors, on June 9, 2009, Corpier purchased cold pills containing pseudoephedrine at a Walgreens and a Wal-Mart store in Marshall, as well as on other occasions at other stores in the area, all in furtherance of his methamphetamine manufacturing activities.
