Drug Store Robbery Suspect Arrested

LONGVIEW – A suspect has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Longview drug store on January 13. The suspect, Jason Corey Benson 26, of Garland turned himself in on Monday.
Benson is said to be the man who took an undisclosed amount of medication after handing the pharmacist a note stating that he wanted specific narcotic medication. After the suspect got the medication he left. Benson has been charged with the robbery of the Walgreen’s Pharmacy and with delivery of a controlled substance.
