Cherokee County CASA Needs More Volunteers

RUSK — A recent increase in court cases involving children in Cherokee County leaves the local CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) in need of even more volunteers. CASA volunteers are appointed by a judge to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children. Cherokee County CASA Director Lee Ann Millender tells KETK her agency is in crisis at the moment and really needs additional help looking at the cases.
