Man Killed in Early Morning Motorcycle Wreck

LONGVIEW — Longview has recorded its first traffic death of the year. Killed was Patrick Alexander Ramey II, 23, of Longview. He was involved in a motorcycle accident shortly after 2:30 yesterday morning in the 61oo block of Tenneryville Road. When officers arrived they found Ramey lying on the ground under his motorcycle. Officers say it appears as if the motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway, and flipped several times before coming to rest in a wooded area. Ramey was pronounced dead at the scene.
