Hiway 80 shelter needs bottled water

TYLER – As temperatures rise across East Texas, Hiway 80 Rescue Mission needs water bottles so they can continue providing comfort and shelter to those in need.
“With temperatures continuing to climb across East Texas, we’re seeing more men, women, and families seeking shelter, visiting our day centers, and relying on our outreach teams for relief,” Hiway 80 said on Sunday. “We’re currently in need of cases of bottled water to help us continue serving our community during these extreme temperatures.”
Since the start of their nonprofit in 1955, Hiway 80 has grown to run shelters for men, women and families in Tyler, Longview and Marshall, alongside their recovery programs and community outreach services.
