Man sentenced for child indecency

HENDERSON COUNTY – A 40-year prison sentence has been handed down to an east Texas man for indecency with a minor. The Henderson County District Attorney’s Office reported that Glenn Baker, 37, of Eustace, was sentenced to two consecutive 20-year prison terms for indecency with a child, the maximum punishment permitted for the offense.

Before starting the second 20-year term, he must finish the first. Along with two churchgoers, Baker self-reported to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office during the sentencing hearing. According to the DA’s office, a child subsequently reported several incidents of sexual contact that occurred five to six years prior.
