Hospital celebrates new birthsTYLER – CHRISTUS Health Mount Pleasant celebrated the opening of its new Birthing Suite, a thoughtfully designed space created to enhance the childbirth experience for growing families across the region.

The new suite offers a welcoming, personalized and family-centered environment while maintaining the highest standards of obstetrical care.

“This new birthing suite reflects our commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care in an environment designed to make families feel comfortable, supportive and at home,” said Nichole Quezada, labor and delivery director. “Welcoming a new child into the world is one of life’s most meaningful moments, and we are proud to offer families in our community an enhanced experience that combines compassionate care, privacy and peace of mind.”

At more than 1,700 square feet and designed as a labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum room, the suite allows mothers to remain in the same private room throughout their stay when clinically appropriate. Amenities include a labor hydrotherapy tub to promote relaxation during labor, a fully updated bathroom and shower, family room featuring hotel-style accommodations, including a Murphy bed for patient partners, spouses or family.

Quezada said the new suite reflects CHRISTUS Health’s commitment to providing exceptional care in an environment that feels welcoming, calming and supportive. The suite will be available as an optional upgraded experience for patients seeking additional comfort, convenience and amenities.

The blessing ceremony marks an exciting investment in the future of maternal care at CHRISTUS Health Mount Pleasant and underscores the organization’s dedication to serving families throughout Northeast Texas.
