‘Possible drowning,’ game wardens say

WOOD COUNTY – The search is on for a missing swimmer in Lake Hawkins, after the person reportedly went underwater, and hasn’t resurfaced, according to Texas Game Wardens, and our news partner, KETK. The 27-year-old male was swimming near a park, when he never reemerged from the water. Officials were still searching for the man as of 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. Game Wardens said the incident was a possible drowning.
