Man wanted for ignoring court order

KILGORE – The Kilgore Police Department is searching for a man who fled from deputies on Thursday afternoon, according to our news partner KETK.

As reported by the department, Scotty Bradberry had been processed last week on a warrant for assault family violence, along with previous convictions but had since returned to Kilgore earlier this week.

On Thursday, Scotty Bradberry was spotted at a residence that an active proactive order said he couldn’t visit. Once authorities became aware that Bradberry had fled the scene, they launched a search for him.

Additional officers were deployed during the search and a K-9 officer arrived on the scene and was able to track Bradberry’s scent, which led officials to discover his cell phone and what is suspected to be bags of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The search was eventually called off due to the high heat index but the department said they do intend to locate Bradberry and eventually take him into custody.
