Charges announced after club assaultLONGVIEW – Following an incident at a Longview nightclub early on June 21, three women have been taken into custody as part of an assault investigation. New details regarding an alleged assault on a woman in the parking lot are revealed by arrest documents that WFAA was able to obtain. Alana Mumphrey, 21, of Longview, Dejae Brown, 21, of Pittsburg, and Ciarrianne Fuller, 21, of Longview are all accused of assault causing bodily injury in relation to an alleged assault at Whiskey J’s, which is situated at 300 TX-63 Spur in Longview.

An arrest affidavit states that a security guard at Whiskey J’s witnessed a sizable gathering in the parking lot. Investigators were informed by the security guard that he overheard someone in the crowd say, “the next white (expletive) that walks out, I am going to hit her.” According to the affidavit, the victim was attacked by a group of women who were thought to be from the same group after the security guard witnessed her passing through the parking lot.

According to the affidavit, the security guard assisted in breaking up the assault and removing the victim from the crowd. According to court records, the victim claimed to have injuries to her right eye and the back of her head. The document stated that another witness, who was unfamiliar with the victim and the suspects, claimed to have heard a woman say “Free Karmelo” and “any white girl can get it” prior to the victim allegedly being beaten. The investigation is still ongoing, according to the police.
