Two dead in Marshall shooting

MARSHALL – Police in Marshall are investigating an early Saturday morning shooting that left two people dead and two others injured at a Marshall Whataburger.
The Marshall Police Department said officers responded to the Whataburger on Victory Drive at around 1:50 a.m. when a 911 call was received reporting a shooting at the location. When officers arrived, they found multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot.
The injured individuals were treated at local hospitals, and police are withholding the identities of the two deceased until next of kin are notified.
Marshall police are currently working with partner agencies, including the Harrison County District Attorney and Sheriff’s Offices, Longview Police Department, and Texas DPS.
