Body recovered in potential drowning

CHEROKEE COUNTY – A body was recovered from Lake Palestine following a potential drowning on Thursday evening. According to Smith County ESD 2, crews are currently on the scene after a body was recovered from the lake earlier this evening.
The individual’s cause of death has not yet been revealed and KETK will update this article as more information becomes available.
