Cherokee County Man Injured in an Attack

WELLS – A Cherokee County man remains hospitalized today after being beaten and stabbed. Jimmy Kirkwood tells authorities that four men kicked in the door to his apartment and attacked him. He was able to stab one of the men with a knife he was carrying. The incident occurred at Wells Manor around 11:00 Wednesday night.
