Smith, Gregg County Election Day voting

SMITH COUNTY – Tyler residents will be able to vote in this year’s mayoral election between candidates Stuart Hene and John Nix.

There were 6,777 in-person and mail-in ballots cast during early voting. That is more than the 5,415 early votes cast in the May 2 Tyler Mayoral Election. There are 67,097 eligible voters for this election. You must be registered and reside in the city limits of Tyler to be eligible to vote in this election.

• Jones-Boshears Elementary School: 3450 Chandler Highway
• Lanes Chapel Methodist Church Family Center: 8720 Old Jacksonville Highway
• Pollard United Methodist Church: 3030 New Copeland Road
• Three Lakes Middle School: 2445 Three Lakes Parkway
• Tyler Fire Department: Station #1: 801 W. Gentry Parkway
• Tyler Senior Center: 1915 Garden Valley Road

Polls will be open Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

GREGG COUNTY – Voters in Longview’s city council district 3 will be able to vote between Marlena Cooper and Brandon Smith on June 13. The district opened up when councilman Ray Wade campaigned for a seat on the Gregg County Commission but lost in the March Primary.
