Possible Suspect Identified in Fatal Wreck

TYLER — New details are released on a fatal hit and run in Smith County Saturday. It happened at the intersection of Farm Road 2767 and Farm Road 757. Authorities are saying that a Smith County Sheriff’s Deputy son may be involved. Jared Stinecipher, 25, son of Lt. Mark Stinecipher, was arrested early Sunday morning for parole revocation. Smith County Sheriff’s Deputy, Bobby Garmon, said Jared may be involved in the fatal hit and run. The head-on crash killed Authur Dewayne Murphy, 50, Tyler. Stinecipher was booked into the Smith County Jail.
