CPS Takes Custody of Two Children

NACOGDOCHES — Child Protective Services has taken custody of two Nacogdoches youngsters who were found standing near a busy street. The youngsters, ages 18-months and two years, were discovered early Wednesday afternoon in the 2500 block of Pearl Street. The CPS report says the kid’s mother was found asleep in the house, and the house was in disarray. The investigation is continuing.
