Gold Coin Dropped into Tyler Red Kettle

TYLER – Someone has made a generous donation to the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Drive in Tyler. Monday, someone dropped a 1/2 troy ounce American Gold Eagle bullion coin into the red kettle at the FRESH by Brookshire’s on the Old Jacksonville Highway. According to Wayne Clepper with Tyler’s American Gold and Diamond Exchange, the coin is valued at around $900.
