Smith County Cold Case Murder Suspect Pleads Guilty

TYLER— A defendant in a 2005 Smith County murder has pleaded guilty in an appearance before State District Judge Jack Skeen. Bryante Denard Gee, 28, was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Gee and Terrance Wideman were accused of killing Christopher Horn, 19, at Kureshe’s Mart in 2005. Their alleged involvement in the cold case was brought to light after a Broadway Square Mall parking lot shooting over six months ago.
