Longview Kidnapping Trial Starts

LONGVIEW – A convicted murderer goes on trial in Longview on aggravated kidnapping charges. A jury has been selected to hear the case against Anthony Marquis Shepherd, 50. He is accused of abducting a woman in Gregg County in June with the intent to sexually assault or abuse her. A couple of months later, he was arrested by authorities in West Virginia.
