New Director Added at Good Shepherd Health System

LONGVIEW — Good Shepherd Health System announces the addition of T. John Ward to Good Shepherd Health System’s Board of Directors. Ward joins the board as part of career which has already spanned over 40 years in the legal and judiciary system.
Most recently in October of 2011, Ward retired after a 12 year career as a United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Texas. Ward currently practices law in Longview’s own Ward & Smith Law Firm. Prior to his career as a federal judge Ward spent 31 years as an active trial lawyer, including admission to practice in front of the U.S. Supreme Court.
