Simpson Files for Reelection

LONGVIEW – State Representative David Simpson (R-Longview) Monday filed for re-election to the Texas House of Representatives, District 7. Simpson says hundreds of grassroots supporters have already contributed to his re-election campaign since the end of the legislative session this past summer. “I am grateful for the support and encouragement I have received after returning from the legislative session,” said Rep. Simpson. “Our state’s rich resources and courageous heritage of individual freedom and responsibility have made Texas great and unique. With the blessing of the people and Providence, I will continue to work to restore civil government to its proper, limited role; to defend the Constitution; and to protect the interests of East Texans.”
