Longview woman accused of arson

LONGVIEW — Longview woman accused of arsonOur news partners at KETK report a woman has been arrested following the investigation of a Longview house fire in September, believed to be arson. According to Fire Marshal Marcus Delaney, 25-year-old Tasha Neal has been accused of arson after an investigation was conducted into a Longview house fire.

Firefighters were called to the home located in the 100 block of Houston Street on Sept. 13 at around 9:35 a.m., where they found heavy smoke and flames coming out of the front of the house.

The fire was brought under control, but it did $80,000 in damages and left three occupants of the home displaced, and a firefighter suffered minor injuries.

Tasha Neal was booked into the Gregg County Jail on Monday, with her bond set at $20,000. She has not yet been released.
