Teen Killed in Shooting

RUSK — The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department confirms that a 13-year old boy has been shot to death. It happened around 3:30 Friday afternoon on Ryder Road just outside the Rusk city limits. The teen was taken to Tyler’s East Texas Medical Center where he later died. No other information has been released on the case.
